Bridging Conservation & Community
The Boonville Environmental Conservation Council (BECC) is a grassroots organization dedicated to fostering sustainability, conservation, and environmental stewardship within the Boonville community since 1971. With a focus on enhancing local ecosystems, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable practices, BECC works in partnership with local government, organizations, and residents to create a healthier, greener future for all. By facilitating programs such as the Boonville Community Harvest farmers market, the BECC Compost food waste diversion initiative, and serving as the Conservation Advisory Council for the Village of Boonville in line with NYS Municipal Law Article 12-F, BECC continues to drive positive environmental change and engage the community in meaningful conservation efforts. Together, we are building a better Boonville, one project at a time.
